The Space

DESIGNED FOR MEANINGFUL TIME TOGETHER

A historic 1934 gathering place thoughtfully restored for overnight stays, celebrations, retreats, and shared experiences — all under one roof in Sioux Falls. Stay for a night or two, celebrate a milestone, bring a group together, or do a little of everything. Daytime, evening, and hourly gatherings are also available on select dates.

Every Story Has Its Seasons

The Chapel's story began in 1934.

Since then, these walls have welcomed different people and communities, experienced change, endured a fire, and ultimately been given a new season. Our lives aren't so different. We all move through seasons — beginnings and growth, celebrations and milestones, change and uncertainty, reflection and renewal.

Today, people walk through The Chapel's doors during all kinds of seasons in their own lives. A wedding. A graduation. An anniversary. A reunion. A retreat. A weekend with friends. Time with family. A new beginning. The Chapel has lived through seasons of its own. Now it's a place to gather during yours.

Historic Character.
Shared Experience.
Entirely Your Own.

The Chapel was thoughtfully restored to preserve the character and craftsmanship of the original 1934 building while creating a space designed for the way people gather today.

Arched windows, original stained glass, natural stone, preserved woodwork, soaring ceilings, and other historic details give the building a character that couldn't simply be recreated today.

The Chapel is reserved for one group at a time, giving guests private use of the property without shared spaces or overlapping bookings.

Whether you're staying overnight, gathering for the day, or celebrating for a few hours, the entire property is yours for the time you're here.

Your space. Your way.

The Sanctuary

The Main-Level Gathering Space

The original 1934 hardwood floors and rafters, carefully brought back to life, join arched windows, original stained glass, natural stone, and preserved woodwork to create a warm, open setting unlike anything else in Sioux Falls.

Furniture can easily be rearranged or tucked away, allowing The Sanctuary to change with the occasion — from a wedding ceremony or seated dinner to a graduation open house, corporate presentation, retreat, family celebration, or cocktail-style event.

The main level also includes a full kitchen, 150" projection screen with HDMI connectivity, integrated audio/video and lighting, and a 12-foot convertible serving/shuffleboard table.

The Chapel comfortably accommodates up to 75 guests at one time. For come-and-go celebrations such as graduation open houses, we've hosted approximately 200–250 guests over the course of an afternoon or evening.

Stay Together

Four Seasons. Four King Bedrooms. Room for 10.

The four private king bedrooms at The Chapel were each intentionally designed around a different season — spring, summer, fall, and winter.

The idea behind them reflects something larger about The Chapel. Just as this building has experienced different seasons throughout its history, each of us moves through seasons of our own. The rooms are a subtle reminder that every season is part of a larger story.

Together with a sleeper sofa in the family room, The Chapel provides overnight accommodations for up to 10 guests.

The lower level also includes a family room with an 85" TV and retro Pac-Man & Friends arcade game, a kitchenette, two full bathrooms with heated floors, and additional space to relax and spend time together.

Whether it's a wedding party, family reunion, retreat, weekend with friends, or simply a unique stay in Sioux Falls, guests have room to settle in and enjoy more time together under one roof. Most weekend overnight stays are reserved for two nights, with one-night stays available on select dates.

A Space to Make Your Own

The Chapel isn't designed around one type of event, one length of stay, or one way of gathering. Move the furniture. Change the layout. Make it formal. Keep it casual. Stay overnight or simply spend a few hours together. The space can adapt to what you're planning.

Ready when you are.

Some people want to walk through The Chapel before making a decision. Others already know it's the right space for what they're planning. Private tours are available by appointment, giving guests time to walk through the property, see the historic details, and imagine their gathering or stay here.

If you're ready to start planning, you can also check availability and inquire about your date without scheduling a tour.
